As a managing associate, Jill Wharton’s extensive academic and professional experience enables her to bring nuanced insights to an institution’s strategic considerations. Jill works with the firm’s partners to guide clients through each stage of a given project: helping clients articulate their needs, designing and executing research projects to address those needs, and translating findings into actional tailored recommendations.

Since joining Art & Science Group, Jill has worked on projects with Berea College, Clark University, Grinnell College, Kenyon College, Mount Holyoke College, and Saint Mary’s College (IN), among other institutions.

Prior to Art & Science, Jill completed her doctoral research at the University of Notre Dame, where she also taught literature and served on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Arts & Letters. In 2017, Jill was awarded an Andrew W. Mellon Career Diversity Fellowship, which allowed her to pursue nonprofit management, and to produce online resource collections for the study of public history, race, and transformative pedagogies at the American Historical Association. More recently, Jill worked as a curriculum designer and faculty member for the International Network for Comparative Humanities, and taught in the Writing Program at Franklin University.
